About us

The King’s College London Computing Society (KCLCS) was established in 2008 by Munthir Ghaleb, a student of the Department of Informatics, with the aim of providing a forum for those with a common interest in computing to meet and exchange ideas as well as increase and promote awareness of opportunities within Technology.

The society has since developed into a group that embodies innovation, forward-thinking, and a rapidly expanding field of which more students are taking an interest – whether academic or recreational.

Not only does KCLCS hold your usual LAN parties, social events and careers presentations, it offers a platform for students to give each other technical support and advice, and learn new things relevant to the interests of this field.

As KCLCS is run entirely within the Department of Informatics, all of our members are Computer Science students by default. The society is free for all and run by the students for the students, giving us access to hundreds of the most employable technologists.
